Adding Sub-Users to your Game Server Print

  • 0

A brief explanation as to how you can add friends or partners as a sub-user to your panel, giving them access to the panel with an account. This is much better than giving your own log-in details to others as they would have access to everything, however, if they are a sub-user, you can edit their specific permissions to disallow anything you would like these users not to have access to on the panel.

Note: This process is not automated and will need a support or staff member to finish this process. It is documented in the steps underneath, please follow.

1. Head to your Server within your Game Panel and continue to the tab Users.

2. Click on New User, and type in the email your friend or partner will want to use to connect to their panel.

3. After having typed the mail, you can now edit the permissions this account will be granted on your panel, this can range from being able to view certain tabs, changing file content, or using the console to send commands.

4. After pressing Invite User, the account linking to that email will have been created but will not have a password set, and so will not be accessible yet. For this step, you must either open a ticket in the client area or in our Discord and give us the email in use and a password that this user will use to access their panel. If sensitive about giving a password, you may come up with a random password, however, an easier way would be to enable 2FA on your account to secure it anyway.

(This step is to ensure there is no overflow of client accounts which can cause problems in the future.)

5. Once confirmed that Step 4 is finished, your Sub-User may now join the panel and have access to whatever permissions you had set.
