How to OP/De-OP players on your Minecraft Server Print

  • 0

A quick step-by-step guide on how to OP/de-op yourself or friends on your Minecraft server. OP gives you permission to use all plugins or admin commands in-game, giving you incredible control over your Minecraft server all while playing your game.

Adding or Removing OP using your Console

1. To start off, head to your Game Panel. In the tab Console you'll see the feed of everything happening with your server.

2. Go ahead and type OP (user.name) into the textbox in the console. If done correctly it should also appear in-game.

3. To de-op someone, meaning to take away these permissions, you can follow these same steps but using DEOP (user.name).

The List of your OPs on your Server

1. Head to your Files on your Game Panel.

2. There is a file named ops.json on the first page. Opening it will show you all players that you have given Operator permissions for on your server.
